Playing with Potholes

Site specific
On going

The appalling state of Hertfordshire's roads continues to provoke outrage in the local papers. Playing with the words 'pot' and 'hole', chalk graffiti highlights some of the worst holes, inviting the viewer to use the power of word association to discover the humour in these interventions.

Photographs of the work were printed in two local papers in April 2010 prompting online discussion, and taking the work into a new context. (St Albans & Harpenden Review, Herts Advertiser)
